Sucks, You have to put so much pressure on it for it to grab anything. I tried to use it on a pinball machine to get the "acorn" style leg bolts off and this socket sucked.

Quick delivery, Units the coolest thing. Grab it and it fits like a glove over all kind of nuts. But, feels a bit weak. Like if I would brake it if a bolt was stuck. I'm afraid to give it a hard stuck bolt to bust off.
Stick with regular tools you'll get much more use out of them. I have yet to find a situation where I can actually use this.

I have had this for about a year and yet to find a time where I can use it. I can't say whether it works or not because I never seem to have any both I can use it on because of its size. Either I needed to go over a long Bolt, which this item is too short or I needed it to go on a larger bolt and this item was too or the boat has been countersunk and can't get to it using this bigger circumference item. What they really need is a very deep socket type item so for the cost I don't know. Maybe I would say I don't recommend purchasing it and just sticking with proper tools as you will get much more use out of them then you will this. As advertised you would think it would be the opposite but I have not found it to be true yet as I said I have yet to been able to find an application that I can use it on.

The quality of the socket is good, it's not a deep socket though. I have only used this for a short while and so far no problems even after falling off the roof. Comes in a nice box. Fast shipping and the warranty is above par. I'm satisfied with the price and would recommend this universal socket.

Not exactly what I expected. I'm sure this may be good for certain applications but it's far from ideal. I tried to use this in an upside down situation to loosen bolts. It took quite a bit of pressure to get the pins to seat around the bolt head. Applying the upward pressure to keep the pins on the head along while working the wrench to loosen the bolts was quite a task. It became a two hand job. If I didn't put enough resistance, the pins would simply push back out, loosing grip on the head. Not sure if adding some type of lubricant, if even possible would make them move in and out easier.
I suppose this would work better in trying to remove items in a less awkward position but a regular socket does it all with ease. I was just hoping for the convenience of not changing sockets for a job requiring multiple sizes.
