An excellent tool, a simple thing done well. This is the traditional 'bone' (not plastic) tool like the one that I used to use 50 years ago. The old tool still out performs the new versions. If you are using a 'folder' for scoring things in any quantity you will discover that the plastic folders will actually melt slightly at the pressure point in heavy use, which is obviously not acceptable. Bone continues to be the best material for serious folding work, and the Vencink folder is perfectly crafted and finished...and will probably last forever. Plus, it just feels great in my hand.

I used vintage bone folders, but were misplaced after I moved and have to replace them. Even that it does not feel as the old ones, is well made (polishing, shape and weight) and looks very durable as the surface is very smooth, solid and even thickness.

These are so nice I am so glad I got them. I use them for paper folding and doing my rub on images for scrapbooking. I have also used them to remove air bubbles when I cover my collages on journal covers with clear tape or contact paper. I hardly recommend them the quality cannot be beat.
