My daughter was 20 mos. I bought the size 1 and it fit her perfectly. The strings in the back were not cooperating and I was constantly retying them until I figured some complex way to do it. The strings were the only downside. But I absolutely loved the dress, I would buy again. She received so many compliments and looked beautiful.

This dress is just precious. I ordered the size 1 for my 12m old who is 18lbs and it fit perfectly. Only downside was it wrinkles easily.

I LOVE THIS DRESS! We bought her actual size based on the other reviews, and it fits well. The length on the bottom is good, though I wish I would have gone up a size. My daughter has a very long torso, and the waist would have looked better sitting a little lower. I find that the arm holes and front of dress look best with the back tied in a crisscross.
I think if you have any doubt, size up 1 size and just crisscross the straps. My daughter is 4 years old. I got her a 5T (which is what I normally buy for her). She is very tall and thin (long and lean torso and legs).
We bought 4 pretty dresses for this occasion, and this is by far my favorite. I was looking for something almost neutral and wasn't sure how I would like this, but it was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. Absolutely beautiful, great quality and my daughter LOVES it (not itchy, the skirt fans when she spins, it is adjustable on top so its not "too tight"- it really gives you a lot of options and the colors are amazing).

I'm in love with this dress. It fit my 10 month old perfectly. I got her a size 1 and it fit as expected. Does not run small nor too large. It does have room to grow with baby. I plan to use the dress for her first birthday which is a little over a month away. I'm sure it would still fit her good by then. My daughter weights 21-22lbs and uses 12-18M clothing. She is closer to the 18M size and has chunky legs. She is also wide chested but the top fit her right. I highly recommend this dress and I will be buying more colors. The material seems of good quality and not cheap. I ordered on a Saturday 9/2 after Hurricane Harvey and it arrived on Monday 9/4.

The dress is stunning! I purchased for my 17 mos old to wear for family pictures with the cousins. She is 24 lbs and I think 3 ft tall (75th percentile). I purchased size 2T thinking it would fit because size 18 mos Carter's onesies fit. After I ordered and before it was delivered (fast 2 day shipping) my daughter had a growth spurt and it just barely fit. I purchased the 3T and that looks more comfortable. I am hoping it will fit through early fall. I plan to sew the straps in a criss cross back pattern on the dress. I purchased a poofy (cream with pink on the end) petticoat to wear underneath this dress. It looked nice, but not necessary. I think I like it better without the petticoat. I loved a previous review with a picture of this dress and cowgirl boots and plan to copy their idea. It will make great pictures at a local farm. We love this dress so much we will be purchasing other colors by the same seller.
