Favorite scent of the Barberry Coast offerings and it would be great if they'd bring the soap back because the only thing about the cream is that it goes a lot more quickly. This is a very spicy scented cream that is hugely reminiscent of pirating, rum, and the sea, or what I'd expect that to have been represented as. It really lathers up hugely, so you don't need a lot of it, and it works very well in coverage. Smooth shaving of whatever you are shaving. Have and will continue to buy this again and again.

Works extremely well with my "Godfather razor". Superb quality for the money. Pleasantly surprised!

I have tried a lot of shaving creams, mostly because my wife is very sensitive to scented items even if she isn't the person using them. I originally balked at the price of this. The tub itself is pretty small. In reality though, they last me around 4 -5 months of shaving twice a week (your mileage may vary). I use a badger-hair brush to put this on and its thick and smooth from start to finish. I wish I could get it as Subscribe and Save.

This is the best shaving cream ever invented, and I have tried them all. Youy apply about two pea sized amounts of this cream to your fingers and rub it onto your face. I then add a few drops of water. Using a double edged old fashion razor I can not feel it cutting the beard on my face. It is like silk. It washes off with warm water afterwards leaving your skin silky smooth. I have to shave two times a day. There are no red bumps or burn marks anymore. Combined with the Bat Rum Splash and lotion this is a winner.

I'd give this product six stars if I could. It has quickly become my favorite shave cream. I appreciate how easy it is to produce a rich, luxurious cream that stays on my face without drying out. My razor glides easily with no drag due to its slickness. I have very sensitive skin and usually experience a slight irritation or stinging after every shave. I noticed none with this cream due to its cushioning qualities. I normally test new creams and soaps with a fresh blade to create a level playing field for comparison. For some reason, I first used this product with a well worn blade and it still outperformed my other creams and soaps. My face feels refreshed and pampered after shaving
I prefer unscented products and this product delivers. I notice no smell. Bottom line - customer for life.
