Great value/quality, but NOT as lush as it appears

I actually really like this artificial grass - it's bright, seems like it will hold up well outside, and the actual quality is pretty good for the price. However, I was definitely more than a little disappointed when I "fluffed-up" the 4 stalks that come in the package and it was nowhere near as full or lush as it appears. That said, I'll be ordering one more set of four to fill out my small pot, because it's still much less expensive than similar sized modern artificial exterior plants I've found elsewhere.
Re pics... looks ok from 10-feet away... not so much up close. (I'll be adding gray gravel to the top of the pot to cover Styrofoam)

Being a student at school, I have little time to maintain my yard. I live on an acre, so I am limited to mowing and trimming. I decided to find a way to make my yard still look nice but maintenance free. I am using these as accents around my yard. They never need to be watered, trimmed, and always look healthy. They look very real when standing a small distance. Its only when you get close you can tell they are fake. I put a UV coating spray to protect it in the sun, but these are water resistant.

My husband thought it was real which pleased me. I bought this and three other fake plants for a room with not enough direct light for a real plant. I thought this was the most plastic of the four but he felt it was the most realistic.
It comes with a strong toxic smelling odor which fades after a day or two. I wouldn't get if your overly sensitive to odors.

So I've spent a couple of years buying perennials and the flowers/plants look nice but the maintenance was taxing. I finally took the plunge and went artificial this year. I am very pleased with this choice. My porch has color and so far there is no upkeep. I don't know if the colors will fade being out in the sun but the price was worth it and these are so lush that it gives that zen feeling. I love, love, love it. I highly recommend this product.

Plastic and artificial which is okay from a distance. Would prefer silk stems rather than plastic. It was advertised as "faux plastic", so I took the risk.
