I just replaced our toilets with "comfort height" models from Toto and found the sitting position a bit too high. I first tried the "Squatty Potty" in the taller version but that item was too tall and quite large and unwieldy for storage when not in use. This item is the perfect height (for me) and much easily to store.
Doctors say our normal position for #2 is squatting which relaxes a muscle that can restrict the bowel. Even normal toilets put us in an unnatural position and comfort height models are worse (knees need to be higher than our butt) and I've noticed a significant difference using the "Squatting Stool".

My little ones had a hard time going potty with their feet dangling so we bought this stool. It makes them much more comfortable on the toilet and they sometimes even use it as a stool to reach the counter. When we don't need it it folds up flat and we stick it behind the door easily.
