Purchased for hydroponics.
They are much sturdier than I expected.
Don't need a lid but some people may. Just know, these do not have lids.

Item measurements are deceptive. I purchased the containter to store some specific items that measure just under 48" in length, but the INSIDE measurements are 45-1/2" length by 13-1/4" width, NOT 48" x 15" as the product description says. The items will not fit.
Serves its purpose
