I get a lot of compliments on these boots. I think they're a great color, very neutral. The outside zipper and buckles are a very brassy gold. I would prefer they not be so bright. Also, I didn't realize the outside gold zipper was not a functional zipper, but rather there is another zipper on the inner leg. Seems weird to have 2 zippers...why not just make the gold zipper functional? All things considered, these were a great bargain and I wear them all the time. They probably won't hold up like a more expensive and well-made pair, but they will do nicely for me. I read a lot of people said these ran small. I usually wear an 8, depending on the shoe I can go down to a 7.5. I ordered these in an 8 in case they did run small, but my toes have plenty of room and I can wear thicker socks with no problem as well.

If you are 5'8 or taller (like me), these are not actually knee high. Boots are nice and are just as pictured. However, they were not knee high. They just came to the top of my calves which is the only reason I gave them 4 stars. This is partly my fault as I'm sure the height measurements were listed but I just assumed from the description they would be knee high. Still like them and will be keeping them. I usually buy my boots from Payless and these are comparable to those. Obviously they are not made from the finest material, but they still look nice. One of the things that I like about these boots is that the top isn't extra wide and gaping. I am tall and thin so if you have wide calves/legs, these might be very tight around your leg.
Also, there's a zipper on both sides, but only the inside zipper actually works. The outside zipper which is shown in the product pics is not a working zipper.

I admit I was a bit hesitant with purchasing these boots; they were so cheaply priced, I didn't know what to expect. However, once I received them and tried them on, I was surprised by how well they fit and how good they look! I ordered the Tan color, and they're pretty close to the picture color (except I think mine are a little lighter in color). They're relatively comfortable as some boots can be (I usually end up putting Dr. Scholls in all my shoes that aren't sneakers), and the bottoms seem to have good grip. The only thing I'm not too fond of is the bright, shiny, gold buckles and non-working zipper on the outside of the boot. Only after I pulled them on, did I discover there is another zipper on the inside of the boot that is the same color as the boot, which I prefer, that actually works! I'm 5'2", 115 lbs, and typically wear size 6.5. The same size was perfect for these boots, and I do like how snug the calves are (many times, boots have bigger sizes for calves, which always made me look like I was wearing boots that were too big for me, but I do understand many people prefer wider calves - if that's your case, these may be a bit tighter on you). All in all, these boots are not too shabby, especially for the price. I live in NYC, so we'll see how well they do in the snow and constant wear, but I'm pretty happy with them for now and am planning to buy additional colors to have on hand.

I read a lot of reviews before breaking down and buying these. I absolutely love them! I wear a size 8 in regular shoes and an 8.5 in boots and heels, I ordered the size 8.5 and they fit perfectly. They have a layer of padding on the inside of the leg that keeps you warm and the style is very cute. As a side note, at least in the 8.5, they have about a 15 inch shaft circumference. I have very small calves and with jeans they are just about fitted, so if you have larger calves, they may not work well for you. They look great, and should last with normal use, but probably not hard wear or through a lot of snow, etc. Great buy for the price.
