This is a must have! One of the best, if not the best valve guard out there. It is made out of some nice, thick, soft, smooth leather. I suppose you're paying for good quality leather. It was an awkward fit on my older horns, but fits the newer ones like a glove. Be careful and make sure the hook and loop are even.. otherwise the rough material will rub and damage the finish on your horn. Good product that looks great and should last a lifetime.
