I'm glad I purchased this!! I almost didn't due to the reviews on how difficult it was to assemble. But I knew it would be perfect in my kitchen! My fiancé is pretty handy and he was up for the challenge! It took him roughly 3 hours and said that the instructions were backwards. Once he realized that, putting it together was a breeze... just time consuming. It's sturdy, stores quite a few appliances and pans! Totally decluttered my kitchen!! Love it!!

Because I had been warned from other reviews that the instructions were off, I actually didn't think the assembly was that bad. Did it by myself in about 3 hours. The trick is you have to think critically about the construction before you start blindly following the instructions. Line things up before you start screwing together. Some of the pieces are illustrated backwards and some of the steps aren't given in the most efficient order. Double check the pilot hole locations. 2 pilot holes on the drawer were misaligned but it was an easy fix since I have a drill. The shelf didn't have pilot holes pre-drilled but you can still mount it without the additional screw support (that's what I did since I got lazy). So yes, the assembly isn't that bad if you're fairly handy but keep in mind that if you don't have your own tools you might run into some trouble.
I love the finished product! It's sturdy and rolls smoothly. The solid wood butcher block top is best part. The wood is unfinished though so make sure you buy cutting board oil to seal it before use.

I love this cart. It is counter height but not quite counter depth in my house. Fits a lot in the cubby behind the doors (instant pot, almond cow, toaster, and more!).
