Thin and cheap

This is pure trash. They should be less than half of the price. The coating is ugly and the screw plate is cheap, meant for small screw to go into wood, not into other materials such as dry wall or cement. At this price they should provide more accessories for attachment. And the pipe rods should be thicker. The images on the site are deceiving, no where near as thick. You can get better at JCPenny, that's where I'm going.

Works and looks great! Just I wouldn't recommend for 48" window maybe a 36- 40" max. Reason being there isn't a support with this one and kinda bows down when you put it out to max 48. This didn't come with a center support like the larger one that I bough. Had to move it in closer just to make it work. Not what I was hoping for when hanging.
It did fit around my wood blinds though!

These work perfectly to cover my 6' sliding glass doors and I do not have to use the enclosed center support bracket. I wanted to only use one curtain panel that could be pushed all the way to one side when not needed and these curtain rods work perfectly. For a distance of 72" they are sturdy and do not sag. If the distance were longer you might need the center bracket but for this distance you do not. The curtains are opened and closed on a daily basis and the rod has held up well. Super easy to install; just screw the brackets on and the rod fits on tightly with a set screw.
Nice cirtain rod, solid and sturdy

I needed something for a curtain in my bay window for every day "pretty" and to be able to draw curtains across at holiday time, as I have cellular shades on each window pane but for holidays I wants to leave them open when the window is decorated. As 95% of the year the curtains will be at the side i wanted a bar that gave as much space for the curtain to sit on as possible so the wrap around ends are perfect. There is a set screw on the ends so you can easily take the bar down if you got it up there level. I actually messed something up a bit and one end doesn't want to come off but I can get the curtain on and off easily. The instructions show end brackets with circular ends so there's no vertical/ horizontal issues. There is a rectangle on these. I am sure it's supposed to go vertically for leverage but if I did that the curtains wouldn't reach the floor as I want them too. They don't come longer so I decided since these aren't heavy and won't be moved usually I'll put it horizontally. I don't even think I need the middle support but I figured I should, my span is 100 inches. It feels nice and solid, the bar has a nice thickness to it. It doesn't even wobble as I slide the curtain across. The recommended drill bit is too small, I almost ruined the anchors trying to tap them in. I went up 2 more bit sizes. Then it went in so easily I was worried about grip but it's perfect. Since I was not looking for function, but only looks, in the curtains I know my 2 panels aren't full enough if I was drawing them nightly but since I want maximum viewing and will use my shades for privacy it's fine. I wish it was $10 cheaper like a bronze one I was looking at but for this quality I can't complain . I have no doubt it'll hold 2 more curtains without a problem if I get them. I also think it looks sleeker with the bracket horizontally. I recommend this and is buy another in a heartbeat if I needed it.
Falls apart at full extension 24"-48"

I have ordered several of these curtain rods in larger sizes for my larger windows and one for a bay window, all of which worked beautifully. Super study and attractive. I had one smaller window to put a curtain on and it needed a 48 inch rod. Well, I assumed this would work since it "extends to 48""...only...it doesn't. After installing it at 48", the center drops out, so It won't work for my window. Guess I could go up a size but it seems ridiculous to have to pay so much more for a larger size. I suppose I'll have to modify this one somehow, which is kind of a pain. Additionally, the other rods have horizontal rectangles where it attaches to the wall, but this one has vertical, which isn't a huge deal, but a bit annoying.
