Once the violin arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see how well packaged it was, it was tuned and ready to go out of the box. All the accessories were high quality, the violin itself looked very impressive, just a beautiful looking instrument! The tone is deep and rich.

This is truly a beautiful instrument in sight and sound. Mellow and rich, smooth even through the E string with just enough woody tone. Exceptional resonance and projection. The Fiddler shop staff go out of their way to go the extra step and Pierre himself spent more time than I would expect to see that the instrument I desired was the one I purchased. I am a musician and play several different instruments and this is my second violin. It sounds GOOD...not OK, it feels GOOD...not just OK. They put all of their Fiddlerman instruments through a ten point setup for quality and Pierre (Fiddlerman himself) plays and tests each instrument before shipping for his personal approval and will not ship an instrument that does not meet his level of quality requirements. Fiddlerman proves you don't have to take out a second mortgage just to have a good instrument, not to mention the exceptional quality of everything included in the outfit. Everything is a step above. I recently ordered a johannes kohr k500 violin from fiddlershop.com. A few days passed and I received an email from the company that stated that they were unhappy with the k500 violins that they had in stock and were going to send them back. They have me the choice of waiting until they got a few more back in stock or be upgraded to the fiddlerman artist violin. Needless to say, I took the upgrade. We received the product approximately 3 days later and the sound is incredible on this violin. They are handmade and individually set up. They come with a letter from the associate that checks everything in/on the violin to make sure it is in perfect shape before they send it out. I am very impressed with the company and will be a loyal customer for years to come.
