Holes don't match!

I ordered these floats to build outriggers for my kayak. Like others have stated these floats do not match either other. I ordered two packs of two each. In each package were two floats with two different size holes. One had a hole of approximately 1 1/8" in diameter and the other had a hole of 3/4" diameter. I had hoped to run a piece of 3/4" PVC through these. A piece of 3/4" is loose on one float and will not fit in the other. I would have to drive a piece of 1/2" PVC to get through the other one. Still debating whether I want , to use two different sizes of pipe, try to drill the smaller hole out, or just return them. Frustrated! Maybe crab fishermen like it this way for their use?

I have to agree with the other reviews that talk about them being misshapen and poorly constructed. I saw those reviews and bought them anyway thinking I might get lucky. I did not. I could not even get a piece of 1/2 inch PVC through them. If you do not care at all about what they look like or are going to use thin rope through the middle then you will be fine, but if you want to make outriggers for a kayak or canoe I would spend the extra money on a better set.
