This wonderful garden hose was my best find in 2020. It is so light weight, I can pick it up and toss it into my laundry sink when it gets muddy. It doesn't tangle and stretches to it's full length very easily. I love the brass on/off lever. This is so convenient when setting a sprinkler or to control the amount of spray when soaking trees. No leaking at the nozzle and the brass ends make it easy for me to hook up to the faucet, sprinkler, or the nozzle that comes with it. I love the plastic hanger. It is heavy weight and clips into my railing where I have shovels, rakes, etc. hanging. I bought a second one for the backyard and a third as a Christmas gift for my brother_in_law. It's winter in NE and I can't wait for him to try it next spring/summer. Pretty sure he'll be buying a second for his backyard. This hose is perfect for anyone but especially great if you have any condition that makes it difficult to wrangle a 75 ft. rubber hose on and off of a hanger. No twisting or kinking with this one.
June 2021- I bought two of these hoses for myself and have given three as gifts. Everyone loves them. Light weight and durable and a joy to use.

I do alot of watering with a hose. . . .potted plants and alot of 'moss gardens' that need water most days. Anyhoo, lugging a rubber hose around the yard becomes a pain, pretty quickly. This hose is lightweight and so easy to walk around the yard, around bushes, rocks, etc. Even when it gets caught on a plant or what have you, it doesn't cause damage as it's just not that heavy. This hose is amazing. I've had a couple others in the past that I paid less for . . . . . and, I got alot less. One didn't even last the spring/summer season. This hose is much stronger and durable. Big bonus, for me anyway is the spray nozzle that is included in the purchase. These are something I'm super picky about as I do all that watering. It's hard to find a good "shower" setting on a nozzle anymore. The collective 'they' seems to have changed the design of them and I'm not a big fan.
We recently had ours 'die'. I again grabbed one at the local hardware store. Hate it! So, I was looking at my past Amazon purchases to see about getting another one of these. It was then that I noticed the Lifetime Warranty. I had no idea. So, I emailed the company, asked what exactly that meant, "Lifetime Warranty". Different companies do different things with this. Anyway, I received an email back either later that day or the next asking for a picture or video of the damage and which color hose did I want to replace the damaged one. Just like that. And, a few minutes ago I received another email (after sending the pics) stating that my replacement is on the way.
Now THAT's customer service! AND a company that stands behind their product. I love it.
You'll pay a few more dollars for this hose, but I can't imagine you won't be pleased with your purchase.

I purchased this hose for my 87 year old mother who needed something lighter than her standard 3/4" 75' hose that was bulky and hard to pull around her front yard. She just told me that she really likes it due to its ease of use. It doesn't take up as much room as the old hose, it doesn't kink and it's easy for her to move around. Unfortunately, the squeeze sprayer that came with it is too hard for her to squeeze for an extended period of time and so she can't use it. The shut off valve sprays the water really weird out the end and depending on how you hold the hose or how fast you open the valve, the water either sprays very far and good or very short and weird. I had to put her old shut off valve on the end of the hose and then add the shut off valve that came with the hose so that it would always spray the same when she opened the valve. That seemed to work. Now she just opens the valve and waters the grass or bushes with the valve wide open and it sprays good enough for her. I'm a bit frustrated that either this hose doesn't come in a 3/4" configuration or I couldn't figure out how to change that in the order screen since her old hose was 3/4" and had more volume output. But, in the end, she is happy with how the hose is working. Now, lets see how long it lasts.

When I first got this hose, I thought someone had made a mistake. I wanted 75 ft, and the hose did not look anywhere near long enough. It truly lives up to its expandability claim. Once I turned it on, it did indeed expand to 75 ft. The hose is extremely durable, which makes it a bit heavy, but I'd rather have that than the cheap hose I paid $40 for two months previous that sprang multiple leaks less than two months after purchase. I missed the warranty period on that by three weeks. This does have a lifetime warranty, and they do live up to it. When you turn the water off and expend the water in the hose, it does contract, which pulls back. But it does not tangle, and its a good product for the cost, which is expensive.

My only concern was the instructions, which cost it one star. I'm not a big garden person, I just wanted to hook the hose up and use it. I did not know that you had to push down before you turned the on/off lever, and I thought the hose was broken because I couldn't move the lever, and it was in the off position, which meant the water was blocked. If this had been mentioned in the instructions, it would have saved me time taking photos, contacting the company, being frustrated that my $50 hose was not working when it was 100 degrees out, etc. There are no instructions included with the hose that outline what the different pieces you have received are, how to hook the hose together and connect it to the water source, that there are extra washers included, that you need to depress the on/off lever before you turn it, how to use the sprayer and the different settings, etc. The instructions just talk about how wonderful the hose is. In my e-mail correspondence with the company, I mentioned this, but I'm sure it fell on deaf ears. I will say the company is very responsive if you contact them, so that's a plus.
Bottom line, I would probably buy this product again.

The Xpandahose is a great hose, and has overall pleased us more than expected.
Ours is in a full sun location, and the first hose lasted a little over a year. Our son left the faucet on in full summer heat for about a day, and the hose ruptured.
Until then, I had always expelled all the water each time I used it, and neatly rolled it up onto the hanger (very easy, by the way).
My wife hates heavy hoses that are difficult to roll back up, so this was a dream for her.
The spray gun that comes with it is a little cheap, and the 2nd one leaks a little (even when I changed the gasket), so I put the gun from our first hose on it, and it works just fine.
In summary, for the price, you get a wonderful garden tool that should last 1-2 years if taken care of.
If you are hard on your equipment, I would suggest going with a Michelin or Industrial hose that is made for the seasons, and a high-quality spray gun.
Don't expect a 5-10 year life span out of this, unless you use it very little, and store in a sheltered location.
Do expect an easy to use, flexible hose that provides convenience and quick use/storage that anyone can use, if you are willing to treat it well.
