Bought this as a gift for a relative who is a PhD to go on her desk. It works absolutely wonderfully for the job because each piece is interesting to look at, interesting to talk about, and can be solved in a few minutes.
They're not the most incredibly sturdy puzzles to have ever been created, but they are well-made - more so than I was expecting, honestly - but not so well-made that you are scared to touch them.
They're perfect for nervous students or employees to fidget with before a dressing down, there are just enough that you can change them out periodically to give your desk a little bit of variety, and best of all they're cheap enough that it's fine for pieces to disappear.
It's a wonderful gift idea, and it was perfect for what we intended.
