Great for hiking & backpacking through cold water

Got these pants for hiking 14 miles in and out of cold canyon water and mud puddles to keep me warm. Overall they were a bit snug, but totally doable. I was up to hip deep in water at times, and they kept me warm. The thickness was great - it didn't allow any mud or water to penetrate to my skin. Since it's neoprene they will make your legs sweaty, so I would only hike in these it you are in cooler weather. If it's hot, they will get annoying really quick.

The size runs a little small. I ordered one size large (XL) than my usual size (L) and It fits me well. I believe I can wear L as well since it is very stretchable. Compared to other neoprene pants around this price, this one holds a best value. The material is 3mm thick rather than 1.5mm which is used for lower cost. Really like it.
