Loved the free sample. Product is first-rate. Place a little hair spray over the powder, if you wish, after tamping down with hand lightly. For me, the product was undetectable (except in a positive sense) and did not fly around under any conditions. The shaker container in the sample travel size is not refillable, however, so I could not mix two shades. This alone was a disappointment--but the only one. I would be happy to pay for a shaker if the company would sell one.

I was so looking forward to using this product because I have slight hair lost on my edges however it would not come out and I shook and shook but to no avail. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Way easier and neater than the compact type that has the long brush to apply it. This container has a perforated top, so you just press the container against your head, use your fingertips to work the colored powder in and it ends up looking very natural. If you are unsure about the color, I got the medium brown and believe it would work for everyone except blonde shades of hair.
