I opened this patio umbrella as soon as it arrived. It is very sturdy, practically no assembly (only one piece to put together on the pole), the fabric is very thick! I am very happy with this so far. I can't use it yet because it is vey windy today but I have seen enough of these to know it is a keeper!

Adore this patio umbrella - it was a return, so it was cheaper because it wasn't packed properly but there was NOTHING wrong with it. I was so excited to get this umbrella cheaper than I anticipated. It looks lovely on my patio and really blocks the harsh sun. I love that you can also adjust the angle of the umbrella.

This is my second C-Hopetree outdoor umbrella. I was happy with my first order"”the 9-foot umbrella"”so I decided to order a smaller one in the same sky blue-turquoise color. It is more sky blue than classic turquoise and brighter than the color swatch in the product description. I would say that it's close to the shade of turquoise-blue in the umbrella photo. The pole & frame are espresso brown.
Assembly was very easy. Everything just snaps together. The tilting mechanism works great on both of the umbrellas. It does feel pretty tight, so I'm not sure how it would hold up if you had to re-tilt the umbrella frequently.
I've had the first umbrella up for about 3 weeks, and it has stood up to some pretty gusty days. The color seems to be holding up well; no fading, so far. I've used 2 different stands for my umbrellas, and they're a good fit on both. I'd recommend the 55-lb. flat square or flat round stands. I ordered a cone-shaped, water-filled stand for the bigger umbrella, and it blew over after just one day.
These umbrellas seem pretty sturdy and well made.

Not as sturdy as the reviews led me to believe, and not as substantial as the umbrella I am replacing. As someone else pointed out, the tilt goes to 45 degrees and there's no adjusting the angle from there. When it's tilted it's much more tilted than I would like. Next time, I would look for something that offers more versatility. I could have purchased an umbrella for $20 less at Lowe's that was essentially the same quality. Oh well...it's OK.
