The listing said that this was a 12"x12" piece of leather, so I was surprised when I opened the package and it was 3 random scraps of leather. I was going to use this to make an envelope shaped small document holder, but the pieces were too small. It also smelled really awful. Like a musty old basement. I put the leather in a drawer overnight and the drawer still smells, nearly a week later.

Its fine for what im going to try to use it for, but my piece did come with a about a 1/4 or 1/2 inch cut in the lower middle and a small hole near the middle of the piece. It doest affect my project because i plan to weather it, but i can see how this would affect othert peoples projects.
