I couldn't ask for more in a bike headlight. I like everything about this light better than any other one I found. After putting Energizer Max batteries in it, I find the dimmer beam plenty good enough for riding streets and trails at night. The brighter beam for use at higher speeds or low visibility conditions. The quick detachment feature is great for keeping the light safe from thieves and for use as a flashlight. I got roughly 100 hours of usage out of the not-so-hot NEBO batteries that came with the light, riding for an hour or so every night for 4 months and only using the spot beam. The Energizers make the light even brighter, and I'm guessing they will last longer too. I prefer interchangeable batteries to the rechargeable, built-in batteries, for obvious reasons. This is the only headlight that I am interested in owning and I only paid $15.89, delivered, for it. I couldn't be happier!! I'm even thinking of buying a spare now that the current price is $1.95 less. AND because NEBO is not selling these anymore. Who knows how long they will be available. (which may explain the low price)
Oh, I might mention that if you have read reviews saying that the light won't stay on, it's because it's in display mode when you buy it. So people can test it in the store without running the batteries dry, it turns itself off. Simply pull the batteries out and reinstall to get out of display mode and you're good to go!

And it also can be oriented in many angles. My favorite so far after may be 4 or 5 front lights. It is so good that it was stolen once! ;-(
Great Headlight for mobility cart

My mobility cart did not come with a headlamp. This works perfectly. We liked the idea of using batteries rather than having to recharge since, in a pinch, you can get AA batteries anywhere.
this is a very good deal

Having 2 types of beam is awesome. A few caveat tho:
> the flashing the flood beam at night can blind the very own rider, as the pavement under the front wheel flashes too
> it would be great in the far beam had its own flashing mode
> the batteries provided in the unit tend to leak. Check before using.
The pluses:
> Solid construction.
> many light combinations possible between the 2 beams
> after the light setup was chosen, it takes a single click to turn it off (no need to press the button to cycle all remaining modes)
> a no brainer choice for this price (7.15) !
Yes, the light may turn off after a couple seconds - remove the battery for 30sec to exit the demo mode. Batteries may need to be replaced too.

This light is pretty darn bright, especially for the price point. It is nice that it has different settings and multiple lights
