The chair itself it very nice looking and does adjust to a low position to high position. The problem I have with the chair is when I was putting the chair together one of the wheels was very hard to get into the base of the chair and because of me forcing the wheel I must have did something to the wheel base because it makes a clicking sound like the chair is going to break. At first I thought it might be due to my weight but it makes the same sound even when a person of much lower weight sits on the chair. I did check the maximum weight and I am under that weight so it makes me believe I did something to the wheel base of the chair. Very disappointed because I don't want to use it because I don't want to break it and fall. So it just sits there looking pretty :(

In the picture this tool looked larger, but after I opened it and put it together...it is rather small. I'm using it as a piano bench which is okay;however, the cushion isn't thick enough for long sits.

Made of good quality materials, comfy, and having that small support at the back makes a BIG difference in helping you feel balanced and secure. I use this for bedside care, for my son who has medical needs, and I and all our home nurses love it.
The only drawback is that you really have to be heavy (adult size) to make the seat go down using the hydraulic lever. When the kids need to use this stool, they can't lower it by themselves because they're just too light. Also the silver piece at the bottom where the legs meet the center pole is made of a cheap plastic - they should make it out of chrome metal like every other piece!
