Good Consistent Quality

Seems to me these are pretty close to the quality of "store bought" CDs, possibly a little less rigid, but that's hard for me to gauge. They're packed tight in cartons of 25, so for me there was no damage during shipping even with a fairly loose pack with other items in the Amazon box. No DOAs from breakage in the three cartons I've used so far. There's no padding in the cartons, though, so they could be sabotaged by indifferent packing for shipping. They meet the standards for jewel case dimensions in every respect that's important to me. The back trays pop out for an insert just like they should and pop back in securely when the insert is in place, no hint of unintended release there. The "fingers" in the back tray grip the CD hub securely enough to keep it in place without spinning, yet release easily, no wrestling to get the CD out like I've experienced with some others. This has been a fine product for my home CD production needs.

I bought these to replace old PS1 game cases that were cracked or broken, contained stickers/residue, etc...
They worked flawlessly. They may be thinner than OEM cd cases (based off other reviews), but if they are it's not by much. They felt plenty sturdy when handling and switching out case inserts, plus they are holding a game while on a shelf...not supporting weight.

Just Like The Original

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and exact likeness to the originals.
Perfect to replace CD jewel cases damaged over time and retain all inserts included with the original CD jewel case.
Exactly what I was looking for!

Exceeds Expectations

Bought, but was unsure about quality. Way sturdier than I thought they'd be based on reviews, none were broken in shipping, and the tray has the cd logo in the corners (not just raised squares). Would definitely buy again!
Pretty good although not quite as good as the original jewel cases.

I bought these because they had the best overall rating for replacement jewel cases. Overall, I am pretty happy with them. They came, amazingly, all intact (25 total) but they are simply stacked on each other, shrink wrapped together, and put in a thick paper/thin cardboard box (not sturdy by any means, and no bubble wrap whatsoever like some reviewers mentioned) so I think I was just lucky. The cases themselves were in good shape also, not just intact. No significant scratches despite being all stacked without any individual wrapping. They are, as all jewel cases I have bought, not as heavy or stiff as original cases that you got when you purchased your CD. That said, it's not too flimsy either.
I measured the weights using a USPS approved scale (measures down to 0.1 oz increments) and two jewel cases with the black plastic tray, and two with a clear tray (like these replacement ones) to compare. This replacement jewel case measured at 2.1 oz. The two clear tray cases measured 2.3 and 2.7 oz, and the two with the black tray cases were 2.2 and 3.0 oz. I will say that all four of the original jewel cases, even the 2.2 and 2.3 oz ones, were stiffer (bend less) than the replacement case. Obviously a lot of variation in terms of weight, and with a small sample size it's hard to make any definitive conclusions, but it's probably safe to say that yes, these replacement cases are lighter and more flexible than the original ones.
So, I would recommend these as they are relatively good quality and I did get mine without any damage (again, probably just luck given the minimal packaging by the company and by Amazon), although I would rather pay more to get jewel cases that are the same quality as the ones the CDs originally came in.
