Had a small issues with use from "wear" on the cord... But I contacted the seller and they immediately offered to correct the issue!!! I couldn't find anyone confirming the inner cord and I will say it is nice and quality! Simplistic and beautiful elastic strung mala necklace/bracelet. My husband loves it enough he often wears it and he NEVER wears jewelry or adornments of any kind outside of a wedding band and iwatch. I love the brown elastic color choice because the porous lava stone 'pits' occasionally get hung up on the string when the necklace is being played with or stretched & the brown color does not take away from the beautiful lava stone beads.

I initially really liked this item. Treated it like any other similar piece in my collection. Broke the second week. The cord is really thin and weak. Other than that I really liked it for the short time I got to wear it :/

They look great! Hold up well and don't leave dust material you commonly get when they grind together. Seems like they might be coated in some protective coating to keep them from grinding each other away.
This can easily be fixed by a quick shake at the wrist

I first purchased this item for stress relief. When I received the item in the mail it came in a black felt bag, the presentation being simple but stylish. When worn this item has a heavier feeling then expected due to the materials.
I use this item for meditation by slowly counting one Bead at a time until I've circled the item entirely. This can be measured by the slightly larger stone at the knot of the item. This can be done as a mindfulness exercise or a method to time meditation sessions.
My only complaint about the item would be that the elastic band used to hold the stones together, will sometimes become caught on one of the stones. This can cause the beads to become bunched on one section of the elastic. This can easily be fixed by a quick shake at the wrist.
