I made makeup goodie bags this Xmas and included these in. They are creamy, and surprisingly pigmented. The array of colors was also varied and I really liked them. I think these are a great gift for anyone or a great buy if building/expanding a makeup collection.

The colors in this warm set I ordered were lovely! It doesnt apply silky smooth on dry lips, but if your lips are mosturized, its fine, which is why I gave it 4 stars. I'm a "mixer" so all of the colors will work for me, but there are at least 5 colors that will work great for Hula auwana! The nude works great as a quick concealer too. This is a great value, I have found 2 colors I'd wear everyday (Burnt Sienna & Bonze Babe). I've always bought good cream colors as a base, because I can always add shine, frost or glitter to that. Spending money on frosted lipstick is a waste of money becuase they get away with using very little pigment to make that color. If you mix colors like I do, you'll get a lot to work with in this set. I'm thinking of getting the cool set too some time soon.

The 12 piece lipstick set was shipped fast and arrived in perfect shape. There are so many pretty colors to choose from! Some, of course are not right for my skin tone so I can give those to friends. The ones that suit me well are very nice. As I am an older person, I could use more creaminess in my lipstick for ease in applying but the stay put feature of these makes up for that. This was a real bargain and if I get the chance I am going to order the "warm" colors too.

Let me 1st say I was super excited to recieve my package because I am an die hard Shany girl, BUT I was a little disappointed none of the colors match the ones advertised in the picture for warm colors...what I recieved look like a box of duplicate cool colors. I still gave them high ratings though because I didn't lose any money I can still mix these with my darker colors in my own collection and come up with some super cute variations. So yes I was sad but not enough to cry over $6 worth of a pretty good investment. Now on to shop for some winter tones.

This Shany lipstick set is ok and convenient if your looking for a quick gift set or just want a visual for display. I bought both sets (cool and warm). The colors are not very pigmented and the nudes are very light. Personally i like wearing liners with my lipsticks so I can make all of the colors work. For those who do not wear liners these colors will appear ashy or too bright. The packaging is very neat and honestly I would just put these on display. Im a lipstick junkie so im ok with these sets. Plus you really cnt have high expectations. You get what you pay for.
