Quick and easy installation of a quality product

Just place the sign on top of the mailbox, mark the holes with a pencil, remove the sign and drill a hole through the metal at either mark, put the bolts through the sign and the washers at the bottom of the bolt under the sign, insert the bolts through the holes you drilled in the mailbox, put the wing nuts on the underside of the bolts inside the mailbox, and voilà ! it's done!

This is a superior quality product. The finish is first rate and the brass numbers add a classy look. You need basic handyman skills to install on your mailbox, but if you are reasonably handy and have the right tools (drill and bit, etc.) the number plate is relatively straight forward to install. The aluminum frame is a heavy duty casting with thick powder coating - should last for years, if not decades. If you want the best, look no further. Well worth the price.

Money well-spent. Although it is pricey, it is substantial and I expect it to last for many years. The 2" brass numbers look nice with it, I used four numbers, but I think it would take five without overcrowding the spaces between. You will need welders glue to put the brass numbers on the plate, if you use them. The finish is smooth and evenly painted, the bolts and nuts have the lining that resist vibration so it won't loosen up and wobble, and the washers have a rubber coating to seal and protect the holes I drilled in the box, against leaking - so no need for caulking. Don't take the washers off the bolt, just insert the bolt with the washer on it into the drilled holes and put the wing nut on. I mounted it on an over-sized heavy duty mailbox with a door on the front and one on the back from HD online that I highly recommend, along with the Brighton Gibraltar universal post that I got here on Amazon. Although the mailbox would not mount from the side, it did with the bottom mount. Had SEVERAL rough storms with heavy rain over the past few weeks and no leaks. Very satisfied with my purchase.

It looks nice on our mailbox but I am concerned about the longevity of the numbers staying attached.
They're stuck on with adhesive backing and one of the brass numbers popped off when I removed the plaque from the packing. I stuck it back on and held pressure for a few moments and it has stayed in place over the past month we've had it.

I wasn't so sure a custom item would come as quickly as stated, but it did! It matches my previous mailbox topper exactly except it has solid brass numbers, which will hopefully hold up better than the plastic ones used by our builder.
