Great hooks - and a fun game!

Great strong hooks. We used them to hang a birthday garland from the ceiling (the magnets hung from nails under the drywall), and to hang Christmas lights and wreaths from bookshelves, again making use of hidden hardware inside the shelves.
We also played a game with them - after unscrewing the hooks from the bases, we scattered the hooks and some spoons across the table, and each player took two bases, the catcher and the herder. Players used the herder's magnetic force to push spoons away from and hooks towards the catcher. The object of the game was to catch as many hooks as possible on the catcher, while avoiding spoons. If a player accidentally touched and caught a hook with the herder, they had to remove any caught hooks from the catcher and start again. If a player touched and caught a spoon with either the catcher or the herder base, they had to remove all attached hooks (and the spoon) and start again. It was a lot of fun and kept us entertained for several hours on Christmas day.

I've been trying to organize my kitchen, and bought these to hang my potholders/kitchen rags on the fridge near my stove (not within fire range, don't worry). I was really happy with the quality. The magnets were much stronger than I expected, and the hooks were just the right size for a potholder or two each. If I ever need more hooks, I'll definitely buy these again.

they are certainly very strong!!! far stronger than expected! we had a deck built out of steel and the wife wanted some string lights hung - so i came up with this idea - and they worked great! when i get them finished i'll share a picture. or i'll try to - i might forget - anyway - about to order some more i think - just to have a few extra. the coating around them is fantastic!! exactly what i was hoping for - thanks guys!!! ten thumbs up!!!

These hooks are awesome!! They are Super Strong! I used a few at home to hang things off the side of my toolbox and they hold quite a bit of weight even though they're not even in their 'strong' position(think pulling sideways instead of straight away from the surface it's stuck to). And I took a few to work to hang up my heavy leather jacket. Just to test it I hung my coat, a flannel, a bag full of miscellaneous stuff and a big metal ring and it still didn't pull loose. Love these hooks! I wish I had more metal in my walls so I could hang more stuff...

Good strong magnets. They are listed as 50 pound pull force. However, the packaging clearly indicated 33 pound pull force. I'm an engineer so naturally I had to figure out which was correct because I was using this for a specific purpose and needed a specific pull force. Bottom line...the pull force was measured to be only 24 pounds. So, I knocked a star off for "mistaken" advertising.
