Third time purchasing an InstallGear amp kit for sound system integration. Obviously it's good stuff because I keep coming back. I can't believe how marked up amp kits are in the stores. It's ridiculous. I have gotten compliments from my installers on my finding this good of a kit for the money I paid. The first one I bought went in my 2016 BMW Z4 Sdrive35i M Sport to integrate a 600W JL Audio Amp and 10" JL Audio low profile sub to the factory DIRAC premium audio system via an aftermarket custom harness, second time in a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder I had as a third vehicle in which I swapped the head unit for a Kenwood and added a 300w Kicker sub\amp combo to the factory Bose system (sounded like crap, but for sure not the amp kit's fault, LOL!), and the most recently in a 2007 Lexus GX 470 in which I added a 1000W JBL amp (running RMS at 500w) and a 1000w Infinity Kappa sub integrated into the factory Mark Levinson sound system via an Audio Control LC2i. Not a single issue with any of these installs.

Good Kit at a good Price. Wire size is really 6 Gauge, but plenty thick for a small Amp. The crimp connectors are too wide in diameter for the "4 Gauge Wire" provided. A little engineering is required. Fuse Link says its rated for 100Amps. I would of preferred a choice of links, such as 50 and 75 Amps. The wire loom was a little flimsy but useable. Overall, I would recommend the product for the DYI with a small amplifier <500 Watt RMS installation.

For the price, a great kit... No instructions, but you should know what you are doing when you install an amp. I will also say that 17ft left me a foot of working room in the trunk of my 2001 Avalon, which works, and most kits are the same. I think they should all do 3' of power line greater then the rcas and instant on cables, personally. You will almost always need that extra length coming from the battery, and everyone appreciates a bit of slack at the end! Might be that in this case, because the battery is on the opposite side of the engine from the firewall grommet that it's just an edge case... Dunno.

This is a great kit. The cables are good and works great. Love the fuse block easy to install and use. I did another installation and I wish I had seen this kit. Will buy again

Worked perfect and is as described. The flexible cable was a lot easier to run than the traditional cable. The fuse holder is sturdy and a lot better than a lot of the other kits I have purchased in the past. Would definitely recommend and will purchase again.
