Nice knife

Made of cast aluminum (not cast iron like advertised) I bought this to keep in my tool apron for when I'm doing trim jobs. I have big hands so this knife is a little on the slender side for me and it is fairly expensive but it fits nicely in my apron and the blades are scary sharp.
This is a very sharp knife

I use this strictly for marking mortises and other cuts. It is perfect for devotees of the Paul Sellers "knife wall" method of marking for cuts. One thing I would change or add: It should have a pocket clasp of some sort. The knife is slightly too big to fit into the little pencil pockets on my shop apron; and it drops down into the larger chest pocket. Otherwise, I would buy it again.
Super sharp - long, thin and strong blades - Iffy machining

I really like this knife for my apron pocket. It easily slides the very sharp, replaceable knife blade out and back in. Fits nicely in my old geek's pocket protector in my apron's top pocket. These blades are stiff and thin enough to make a fine dovetail scribe line.
I have four of these knives. Two worked right out of the box. The pot metal casting of the knife itself is not always well machined. In particular, the knife blade cannot slide out. I have filed one to get it working. One I could not get right and had to send back. Taylor Tools sent me a new one with no fuss.
Great value, functionality superb

Great knife! I like retractable blades because sometimes I reach for stuff without looking directly at it. I also like it better than the Stanley because that one requires two hands to unlock and fold up. Also has several extra blades!

Seems OK, but a bit fragile and finicky. I keep going back to my old Veritas knife. Marking knives are very personal, so really hard to rate. Not giving up on it yet.
