FINALLY, WARM HANDS

I absolutely love these mittens. My hands and feet are always cold and I've never had a pair of gloves or mittens that kept my hands warm after being out in the cold for over 20 minutes. Finally, in my 60's, I've found these mittens on Amazon, almost didn't buy them due to the price but finally decided to get them just to see if it lived up to it's description. I feel like I scored big-time! I've been out in the snow for hours with my dog and my hands never once got cold. I'm now considering buying the socks knowing if this product worked so well keeping my hands warm, I'm sure they'll keep my feet just as warm. I may also look into their sweaters. It's definitely worth the price tag if you're comfy when out in inclement weather!!

While I don't have Raynaud's, my hands are almost always cold (oftentimes in the summer too) and in the winter, they can take hours to warm back up or not at all. I recently took these on a snowshoeing excursion and am happy to say that they kept my hands warm the whole time, even with taking them off a few times. The weather wasn't super cold (only about 40 degrees), so I do not know how they will be when it's in the 20's or lower, but I can always slip a Hot Hands in each mitten if I need to. They are very soft inside because of the fleece; I love the colors that they used in this pattern (Fastfolk Elsie & Erik) and the weave is fairly tight....no water/snow penetrated them the entire time I was using them. Unfortunately, there was no option to buy these in a small (I ordered a medium) and since I have very small hands, I think I will try what another reviewer did..... wash & dry them to shrink them. Right now, I have about 1-1/2" extra at the top and that's cumbersome with my snowshoe pole straps. I will say that right out of the package, it's obvious that these mittens are very well made with good materials. Am very pleased that I found such a nice pair of mittens since I have tried MANY MANY gloves & mittens that did not keep my hands warm at all.
