Very Good Light

Overall, this is an excellent light at this price point and I would highly recommend it.
I bought mine specifically to use as a scanning light while night hunting. When I first used it I was very impressed. My primary light is a much more expensive higher end light. I would guess the VastFire light is about 30-40% the brightness of that light.
If used as a primary light, I'd say you with decent optics, you'd be able to confidently ID a species and make a good shot at 100 yards max depending on the shooter. Eye shine would be noticeable further than that.
This light won't replace a high end hunting light, but it would certainly make a decent light for scanning, backup to your primary or even something to keep on hand should you take a friend night hunting. It would certainly make all the difference in the world to someone who has no light at all.

I use this for hog hunting at night and they do very well it will shine out pretty far out, I mostly hunt for hogs in my bow stand so I'm not taking to far of a shot but even if you were it works great.

I love my new VastFire! It's bright for a green light. I use it at night when I take my puppy outside in addition to my original reason for purchase, fishing. Shipping was on time. Will buy additional units for friends and family.

Very happy with the purchase. Great value for the money. I'm sure there are better flash lights out there for double the price. For me I would buy it a gain.
