I have been using this product for years. I continually seek to use more natural products with less chemicals, etc. I was upset when I could no longer buy it locally so I was pleased when I found it online. My hair is healthy and manageable so I will continue to use it as long as my results remain good.

Very nice fragrance, but it seems to require a larger quantity above average to clean. So, a large size is definitely recommended. But overall I find it cleans your hair well. It'll make it squeaky clean, primed and ready for a good quality hair conditioner. The matching Aura Conditioner Rosemary Mint Rejuvenating 33.8 oz. is excellent, and is what in fact brought me to buying the shampoo.

It's a nice shampoo that leaves my fine hair soft and manageable. The fragrance is soft and pleasant. I've never used Aveda so I don't care if it's not like theirs. This one is just fine.
Substitute for pricey Aveda shampure

I used to use this Aura product when I was in my twenties and thirties, but I forgot the name of it, so I've been using Aveda Shampure instead. But when it came time to shelling out fifty plus dollars for another bottle of Aveda, I choked. This shampoo is very nice. Of course it's not exactly like Aveda, but for the money, I'm more than satisfied. And yes, I have to use a conditioner afterward, or I get way too many tangles, since I have long hair down to my waist.
