nice, sturdy stool

I bought this bench stool to replace a slipper chair in my bathroom. I needed a place to sit when putting on socks, cutting toenails, etc., that wouldn't take up too much space yet be large and sturdy enough to safely hold myself or my husband. This checks all the boxes. Although you have to put it together, it is very intuitive even if no instructions were given, and all the screws are the same size, which also makes it simple to do. We are not handy at all, and it only took about 15 minutes to assemble.
It is made of heavy wrought iron which should hold most people with no problem, although the instructions suggest a maximum of 225 pounds. It is also attractive and meets all of my needs. The only negative is that the cushioned seat is not very comfortable. It is quite hard, but since I don't plan to spend a lot of time sitting on it, I am actually glad that it is so firm, with hopes that it will hold up well and hold its shape over time. All things considered, I would recommend this as a bathroom or vanity stool.
