Very nice lock. Good quality. Straps are to long for my early 80s Raleigh so I used cable ties. Otherwise I'm very happy with it. Thanks Sigtuna / Boudewijn!
Fits the security need and no horse shoe around the bike seat post.

Alright, so, I was reasonably impressed with this locking device for my Son's bike. Once mounted to the bike frame it fits nicely using the very sturdy straps that it came with. It also came with screws if you choose to drill and tap for them. Unless your bike came with assorted mounting holes drilled into it (not likely). It fits well with the water bottle. Enough room for a 20oz bottle and holder.
However, It is quite sturdy. The rivets are hardened and recessed, yet swivel nicely yet firmly aligned. The lock is smooth, and, both keys work well. Not a cheap lock. Of course, it has yet to be tested. Rest assured, if someone does break this apart,if you've removed and locked your front wheel with the bike to a rack, parking meter, sign, etc; its rigid construction will ensure they will not steal a usable bike.
Well worth the $, and, even Superman can own one.....

Feels like a solid lock, the lock carrier comes with strong Velcro and holds in place well. The locking mechanism works well, without stickiness or grating.
