If you have a small pet lover in your family, this is the perfect gift for them. Honestly it was a gag gift but actually came in handy and is used regularly. Not for long-time pet wearing but perfect for small animals + getting around!

Ok so I feel a bit ridiculous in this, but it does exactly what I need it to do. The photo shows a size small, and I think I may need a medium, however it fits fairly well now and they are cheap enough to buy another when I need it. My dog is part dachshund, so she is long and oddly proportioned, and I was worried she wouldn't fit right but the only thing that's a bit off is her long neck. Her neck and head makes it a bit forward-heavy, but not too awkward. She feels secure in it, and it has a little tail hole for free wagging :-). My dog is about 4-5 months old and she has never been in one before. I waited until she was a bit sleepy and unzipped and un-velcroed one side and slipped her in that way. The biggest pain was getting her tail in! I can do it alone however it is a lot easier if you have someone to hold the dog while you put their legs and tail in.
The fabric is sturdy, the stitching is good and it feels well made. The color is exactly as described.

The item came as described and the quality was there! My little 6 lb Chihuahua x Brussels Griffon was not feeling it though. I don't think she enjoyed facing away from me and it didn't quite hold her snug enough against my body. It was nice to be able to shop and sight-see hands free, but we only used it one day of our trip because she just didn't seem happy.

I really like this carrier and my 4 pound Morkie does too. (Smallest size fits perfect) The only thing I worry about is the neck part, he hasn't acted like it has bothered him though. He has separation anxiety so I think this makes him feel secure. I would say probably use this short periods of time so their legs won't go to sleep and won't hurt their back/neck. He looks so cute in this!!

Our very adventurous pup turned seven and was having issues with her hips and knees last year. We ordered this thinking, yeah let's see. We have carried her for up to six miles multiple times, it's been washed very regularly, used multiple times a week for over a year now and is still going strong. We were heartbroken when we learned she wouldn't be able to walk as far anymore, but this has allowed us to continue to hit the trails and gives her an entirely different perspective!
I will warn you, if you have lower back pain, this may not be the product for you. I find this makes any lower aches I have worse. But we also carry her for miles. So take it with a grain of salt if you don't plan on taking your pet very far. I also find that walking down hill my dog sometimes gasps for air like the neck strap sits a bit to high. It's never usually a problem, just going downhill and by now, I just know to pull her backward when walking downward. These are my only notes for improvement.
Otherwise, 10/10.
