We loved the idea of the chain saw filing vise for use in the field, however, without barbs the vise too readily works its way our of the stump it was hammered into. That puts speedy chain saw sharpenings out of reach.

This vice came quickly. Its what I expected. It'll do the job just fine but nothing over the top because it just a casting with a tapped hole and wing screw to hold the bare in place. Unless its driven in or hit too hard and I break it I'm sure it'll last me many years. It sure wouldn't be a hard tool to build but for the price it was worth it.
