Easy to use right out of the box

Easy to use right out of the box! Had no problems running two at the same time, since each of my boys received them. Just turn them on individually. Great toy!

Great toy for my nephew, looked and worked as expected!
Great but short battery time
Nina✓ Verified Purchase•December 5, 2017
I want to rate this a 3.5 stars but would rather keep this toy in the 4 star bracket. This thing is really stunning at first but the short battery time continues to be a problem. Seems to have about 15-20 minutes of drive time and then the controller starts binging. My 4 year old son gets so aggravated. I try to plug it in whenever I find it laying around but it takes so long to charge that he loses interest in it unless I am completely vigilant with charging it before putting it away. It drives and steadies itself well on carpet and hard wood but I feel the constant balancing to keep it upright is the battery- drain culprit. It's flow from one position to the next is very cool though.

Extremely fun. Good even through some thick mud. Buying another for me to use with the kids

You'll be in for a tread

This remote controlled car is quite fun, and it actually does its novel stand up act well!
This car has two treads, a full range of motion controls, projectile canons, and it can stand up!
One button in the controls will raise the body a little. This will give your canons a bit of range. Press it again, and the car rises from rolling on treads to stand and be able to slowly move around. If you leave it still, it will make slight adjustments to stay upright. It is quite impressive. Another press and it gets back down.
The car won't drive it gets flipped upside down, but you can typically flip it back over with the Stand button. It. It might use less battery to just pick it up and turn over though.
The battery lasts around 10 minutes and takes about an hour to charge. It's really the only downside. You can charge with USB, which is a plus. There is no replacement battery to have to charge while you use the car.
The controls are good. They aren't extremely precise, but they do well enough.
This RC car is leaps and bounds better than any I had as a kid. And it does its novel trick with style! The short battery life could be mitigated by spending the charging time making an obstacle course to traverse when it is ready to go.
It's fun, the kids like playing with it, I think it's a solid good deal.
