Effective, quiet and elegant

We live on a dirt road and have 2 giant shaggy dogs. Our house was so dusty it was ridiculous. We did some research and decided to get one of these air cleaners. It made such a huge difference. Instead of having to dust daily, I could see a light dust accumulation in a week! The washable pre-filter catches a lot of the dust and can be vacuumed and put right back in. The design is elegant, and I keep the fan on a low setting so it is whisper quiet. We were so impressed that we went out and bought 2 more for other areas of the house. I can now manage the dust in my house without losing my mind!
Effective and Well Designed Hepa Air Cleaner with Remote Control

The Winix unit comes well boxed and is very easy to setup. It includes three filters, the fine mesh prefilter that preserves the life of the Carbon filter. and the larger hepa filter that does the most work trapping the very fine particles that often exacerbates most allergies. i bought this unit to supplement three larger whole house units which run 24 hours a day and do a good job of keep the air quality good but not perfect. I needed a unit I could place just feet away from my computer and this unit so far seems perfect. How perfect?...I bought a second unit to place very close to where I view the TV..
What I like about the unit.
1. The fan is relatively quiet in the first two settings and is noisy at the highest setting.
2. The indicator lights give an immediate feedback about air quality.
3. It has all the settings you may want like timers, sleep setting and various useful modes.
4. Good design makes it easy to insert and replace filters.
5. The permanent prefilter is easy to clean and preserves the carbon filter. Normally the carbon filter will clog first
from heavy dust.
6. The unit is large enough to be effective but light and small enough to move around.easily.
7. Filter cost is typical for this size unit but there are many alternative filters for 1/2 the price.
8. My unit came with an extra hepa filter and a total of 8 carbon filters, so it's good for 2 years.
9. Good warranty.
10. Remote for controlling unit

When you have many allergies to Pollen, dust, mildew and any foreign pollutant having an effective air cleaner is the right medicine.this unit can improve the air quality in one good size room. It's always impossible to predict how long a unit can last but every air cleaner I've bought has lasted ten plus years and are still running well. This unit should last a long time. (hopefully)
