This is the perfect dive computer for me, I have used it with the two transmitters on my main tank as well as my pony bottle. I have used it in sidemount diving also, it tells me GTR (gas to return), it flashes red (basically meaning negative time) when you don't have time to surface with a safety stop, which means surface now. The only down fall is that it onIy tells you the GTR for the one tank, it would be nice if they would fix that. It also shows your SAC rate (surface air consumption) was very helpful too. You need to remember, while it does take almost any AA battery, the battery fuel gauge doesn't work for all batteries. The alkaline batteries work well which is the most common batteries you can find for cheap and the Lithium Ions work the best, but are more expensive, you can find these in camera shops and some drug stores.

I only use this for open circuit recreational diving which is only a small fraction of its capabilities. As an engineer and a diver - I absolutely love this computer. Every detail of this computer has been carefully thought through, and all the necessary information is presented to the diver in a clear and concise way. It may be overkill for recreational divers, but it is very simple to put into open circuit recreation diving mode, and then it only presents the info that I need. Don't let all the advanced tech diving features prevent you from considering this computer for recreational diving. Even with all the features, it is priced below the air-integrated offerings from the competition.

Used it on six dives and love it more each time. Set it on Rec OC for simple to read configuration or Tech OC for additional info on the main screen. Very reliable and a breeze to change the 1.5 v AA batteries. I added a little grease to the O-Rings for ease of tightening. Straps are super comfortable and the transmitter hasn't glitched once. Strong beautiful and easily configurable for all levels of diving.

Perfect! Shearwater has out done themselves yet again. I have been looking at this computer and watching their progress for years. Now that there is air integration I went ahead and pulled the trigger. A bit pricey? Yes. But you get what you pay for. There is nothing Positive that I can say that hasn't already been said about this unit--Certainly nothing negative. If anyone ever gives this less than a 5 star rating they need to get a life or learn how to build their own.

Love this computer, best investment in dive gear I have made.
