My grandson loves the ant farm and so did his sister so I got a second one and they hooked them together. They enjoy watching the ant build tunnels and travel through the tube from one to the other. Seller is awesome to work with answering questions quickly.

My 7 year old son really wanted an ant farm for his birthday. I was nervous because I was worried some might escape or the ants would arrive dead. This kit had everything we needed for set-up, including the ants. The ants arrived alive and well. Something we thought would be kind of a hassle and more work for us parents, is actually one of the coolest things we have ever purchased for our kids. We have 5 kids- all of them & both of us adults are always checking on the ants to see what they're up to. He has had this ant farm for at least 2-3 weeks now and only a few ants have died. There is no queen, so I didn't figure they'd last this long. Pretty cool as it holds their attention for long periods of time and they are learning while observing!
