As received, tip was bent and edges very rough - burrs all over the place (top AND bottom). No problem, I thought, I'll clean it up on my sharpening stones. After 30 minutes trying to get the back flat with my roughest stone, I gave up. I'm either going to have to get more aggressive with it, or I may simply return it. I've been happy with their chisels but I'm pretty dissappointed with this item.

This is the only Narex product I've been disappointed in, and I own a few dozen. The tip broke off while I was marking a line in pine. Normally I would say user error, but it was a simple, short, straight line. I'm sure I could grind off some of the edge to get rid of the broken tip, but bummed none the less.
