These bags solved a problem for me: I needed to put some of my antique furniture out on my porch under a tarp while my floors were being done. I was not wrong in thinking this would work: they're very, very strong (it would be hard to poke a hole in them accidentally). They did okay through some seriously windy and rainy weather and could be used again. A much cheaper solution than a Pod!

Thick and durable plastic. Very large size, was able to stack a love seat upside down on my sofa and use this to cover them both. This bag doesn't have a self sealing tape, so you will need to use your own tape if you want the bag sealed around the sofa.

Currently using this bag for temporary storage of a sofa. Works great for this purpose. VERY spacious. I was able to cover the entire sofa, including the bottom, and then tape it up to keep everything in place. It's not "air tight", but I don't think you'd want it to be as proper ventilation will prevent any mildew smells, etc. But, if used for moving, there's enough overlap when closing it up - so it should be water resistant is moving in rain or snow.
