My only complaint is that younger kids who don't know better take it off the swing set easily so I constantly have to put it back where it belongs. My nephews who are autistic swing it around like it's a bat after taking it off. They don't know what it's used for. I wish it wasn't removable.

The kids love it. Along with a nautical ship style steering wheel it add a nice finishing touch to the tree house we've been building this summer. The ball/swivel mechanism is a bit loose so it doesn't stay put when you aim it, but the kids like to hold it while they use it anyway so it's not a big deal. It's not particularly heavy duty, but seems like it's going to hold up well enough to make it a good bargain. Happy with the purchase over all.

We added the telescope to our place house we built this summer. All 4 of my kids love it (ages 1 1/2 - 4 1/2) It's nice that can easily be taken off the stand and carried around. Very easy to install. Price is perfect for a simple telescope. We liked it so much we bought a second one for the tree house at my parents home.

My wife spent days building our 2 year old daughter a pirate ship out of pallets and this was one of the finishing touches (along with a ships wheel and a pirate flag of course). Our daughter loves her "oscope" but still hasn't figured out which end to look into, lol.
The only critique we would have is that the mounting bracket is kinda strange. It mounts sideways so that the telescope wants to point at the ground most of the time. It really isn't much of an issue as it is promptly ripped out of the bracket as soon as one of us replaces it. :)
