Received these today. Pleasantly surprised. They are a generous size fir repotting plants from cheap plastic planters. I thought they felt a bit heavy but they don't feel heavier than plastic. I put coffee filter over drain holes as I always have done. They are a nice color and really look great. Actually I think they would look great as non hanging or hanging .

These planters are large and look great. They are more solid (and thus heavier) than the typical planters you'll find at target, Walmart etc but they look nicer too. My only problem was with the rope that it hangs from because there are no directions on how to tie it and unless you are familiar with different knots it is not intuitive. I watched a few YouTube videos but still not 100% confident it's done correctly

I think they are classy. I put them on a covered balcony rather than in the elements because of the ? rope hanger. The rope (it's probably a cross between rope and string - nylon?) is very sturdy, which it has to be for the weight when this is full of wet dirt, but I don't know how long it (the rope) would last in the elements. No worries about the pot.

First off, these are large! I read the description for the size, but did not expect the size still! They are a little over a foot wide in diameter (13.8"), and a little over half the length of a ruler in depth (6.7"). I wanted a hanging planter that would be lightweight and not put too much pressure on the hanging fixture and wall. Note that the hanging portion is thick string and not metal chains. Examine the photos as they show this clearly. The coloring is exactly as shown and goes well with the surroundings! I would recommend this product.
