Had this meter for about 9 months. I use it in my brewery and it has errored out so many times, I am tired of calling Apera about it. I always calibrate it with their buffer solutions and I always cool my samples to 20C, but still it faults. Worthless. Do not buy.

The unit is well built, incredibly easy to use, and has a fast response time. The carrying case that it came with is handy (as well as the sample size buffer solutions). The instructions are actually really helpful as well regarding other probe usage, accuracy, cleaning, storage, maintenance, calibration, etc. My only suggestion is that the plastic guarding around the glass bulb seems a little thin, nothing has broken on my unit, but seems like it may be a possibility.

We purchased this for food service application. It is easy to use and accurate. We use it daily and calibrate it once a week to satisfy FDA requirements. We have also been in contact with the manufacturer and they are very helpful. We had purchased a cheaper meter and it did not last. This is a great meter for a good price.
