This arrived with the globe detached from stand and after I picked it up realized why. We can't touch it or it falls apart. It was purchased for 11 year old to pick up, handle, and explore and he's unable to do that. It doesn't spin well - just falls off stand if we try to spin it. The equator has big piece of black tape around it, blocking some cities, and the equator doesn't line up to the side with the longitude markings on it, rendering that part useless. The quality just isn't there. Debating returning.
