Really cool longboard, but I had to return it because the grip tape started to bubble after only having it for a couple of weeks. I am 35, 5'1 and this was my first board. It was easy to ride. The trucks had to be adjusted as they were very tight and I had difficulty turning in a full circle. It is very sturdy to the point where a new longboarder can feel confident in that they are not going to fall off. Really nice board. I ended up going with a Quest board which has the wheels and trucks underneath instead of the drop wheels on this board. I honestly liked this board a lot but because of the grip tape bubbling and the trouble turning on it, I decided to try a different one. My quest board is 41" and is very fast. It is slightly easier for me to turn in circles on, but the stability does not equal that of the Volador.

This is a great board for the price. I slapped some Reds bearings on it and that makes a huge difference, but a beginner might like the bearings it comes with. The board is pretty springy but sturdy. I have no doubt that I could break it, but with normal use, I don't think it'll break anytime soon. The bushings are super soft so it turns very well at low speeds, but I'm not sure how they'd do at high speeds. I'm 6' and 170lbs and it feels pretty good to me. I just got it for cruising around town and it's holding up well for that purpose.

This board was my first longboard and it doesn't disappoint. I use this to get to class from my car and I needed something that would go over brick sidewalk moderately smooth. Solid choice of board to start off with.

Pros:
- Great Value at $60
- Beautiful design(I chose the koi fish)
- Good flex/smooth riding
- Build quality is pretty good for what you pay for. If you want better you should probably pay more
- Light for its size

Cons:
- I don't really have any noticeable complaints with the board so far.

Overall this was a great choice for me and I would recommend this to beginners or anyone who wants to give a longboard. Just beware that this is quite a large board and was a bit bigger than expected.

I've waited two months before writing this review because I wanted to see how this board would hold up. Some background information, I've never had any skating experience prior to this board. I first got this board because I wanted to get around my university's campus faster. I bought this board not knowing what to expect. Currently, I take my board with me everywhere I go and ride it around to all my classes. I'd say I use this board at least 6 days a week and ride on it at least thirty minutes to an hour for all of those days.

The board comes with surprisingly good wheels and bearings (although I recommend using a tool to tighten or loosen the wheels because mine came a little too tight). I bought an extra set of better wheels and bearings because I expected the ones that came with the board to be poor; however, in comparison, the ones that come with the board are just little worse than the others I bought. The trucks on the board have held up just fine. The art pattern/design still looks the same since day one, and the shape of the board makes it super easy to carve and make really sharp turns. Lastly, the board itself is sturdy and well made. I've had many crashes and wipe outs which I believed would leave huge scars on my board or make something come loose, but to my surprise, the board still remains intact with minimal damage.

To summarize, the quality of this board has exceeded my expectations and it gets me around campus quickly every day. I would highly recommend this board to anyone who is looking for a board just to cruise around places like a college campus. Since this is also my first longboard, I would also recommend it to anyone who is interested in getting into longboarding.

My review is based on 3 months of daily usage (30 minutes everyday). Let me tell you, I am not a professional boarder. I did a lot of research before buying this board. I was visiting local stores to try different long boards, but at the end I made a decision to buy this one. And trust me, I love my decision! The quality and the price of this board is just incomparable to any other deal out there. The board is so stable! I never had any issue with it. The quality and durability of this board makes me feel it would last a very long time! I have included some recent photos. These photos were taken after 3 months of usage. You can tell that the board still looks like new! I am happy with my choice and the service as well!
