better for a woofer than a sub-woofer

The sound "bracket" coming through after the device is OK for a woofer, but not of my preference for a sub-woofer. This still has lots of use, but definitely -for me- not for a sub-woofer as advertised.
For my setup, with own amplifier and making a 5.2 surround, I ended up preferring the HC 101 for that purpose.
Again, for a woofer with background music, probably OK
