This Flex tape is expensive, but it's the best seal tape I have ever encountered. While the claims on TV about pressure sealing under water are mostly bogus,,,,In reality, you need a clean, dry surface for the maximum seal
But for leaky ducts, A crack in the plastic shower floor, a ruptured air line on my semi-truck,,,, all these things I have fixed with Flex Tape. Far-far better than common duct tape or even carpet tape.
I'm ordering more just to have plenty on hand for the next emergency !

A little confusing to apply but stops leaks

I had a few hairline cracks in our 20 year old bathtub. It definitely stopped any leaking. The only issue was that I wasn't able to remove the backing from one side of the adhesive despite watching several instructional videos. Probably best to not have a sticky side facing up anyway. It doesn't need to be sticky on both sides for stopping leaks. Great stuff to have on hand when problems arise. It stuck well even on the textured bottom of the tub.

They saw a boat in half and fix it with this on the commercial. What?! This wouldn't hold a Barbie boat together in a bathtub! Used this to try to seal the area where our camper roof meets an enclosed addition. We did everything carefully, according to instructions. and my husband is in construction, so he's not clueless. No good. Not even close. Not even a good temporary seal. I do not recommend this product.
