Much smaller than they should be

These dishes are SO small. They will not work with any pretend food I've ever owned or even seen at playgroups or child care centers. I guess they would be fine on their own or in a pretend kitchen with no food, but what's the point in that? Aside from the size they do appear to be well made I would assume they'd last awhile. I will not be keeping them though.
