The bowl is gorgeous--the wood has a nice solid heft and the cut edge is smooth and sanded down so no threads snag. The color is rich, vibrant, earthy. It feels great in your hands and holds the yarn perfectly. Super thrilled with this purchase!

This yarn bowl is stunning. I bought it for my mother's birthday and she absolutely loves it. My mom had two yarn bowls already, but she had been wanting a wooden one that wouldn't break if it was accidentally dropped. So, I set out to find her one. It was hard because I am a college student on a budget, and many wooden yarn bowls were too expensive for my price range. This was a problem because generally, when you start worrying about price for these types of things, quality suffers. Fortunately, this was not the case with this product! It's smooth, the woodwork is beautiful, and it was affordable! Most importantly, my mom adores it, and I would happily buy from Craft Mamas again.

I love my new beautiful wooden bowl that holds my yarn while I knit. It is a handcrafted work of art made of lovely wood designed to hold my yarn as I make my latest knitting creation. It keeps my yarn clean and free from knots and in a safe known location. It has two holes if you start from the beginning of your skein or a chic swirl if your knitting is in progress. It is so attractive I keep it displayed in between projects!
